i can't figure out how to cross chicago off my to do list but i've been there and done that and here's a picture to prove it (building in background was one of the few to survive the great fire of 1871)

sorry dad, i tried to keep the word fire off my blog for as long as I could. no reference to CA at least.
one more thing, i hope you all notice that although i may be experiencing technoligcal difficulties in one area, i have figured out how to imbed links. watch out.
Two things, there is an awful lot of food pictures in this blog...making me very hungry, cause i live in a place where you can only one type of food, aka Greek food. and number two, did you notice there was only one picture where laura was not holding an alcoholic beverage, that must have been a really fun visit!!!!I love your blog, you are such a good writer, if only there was some way to publish it...
